Available Tools¶

get_user_profile_selective_tool¶

Retrieves selected fields from the current user's profile in the agent runtime context: skills, objectives, experiences, departments, bookmarks, training history and mandatory training IDs. Call the tool only when the current request needs profile information, with at least one relevant need_* selector set to True. An all-false selection returns an error. Successful responses include available first and last names; the tool does not support a names-only empty selection. Conversational closings that need no profile information must not call this tool. Biography and project fields are no longer part of the user profile contract.

For example, the career agent can request need_skills=True and need_objectives=True to discuss development progress using the user's current skills and objectives.
