Data Exchange HTTP reference

API version

Data Exchange API: 2.14.15

The /data_exchange/api/v1 application adapts operational PwC payloads to the same entity and feedback flows used by consumers. Consumer-format imports require MongoDB; user reads and updates also support PostgreSQL. Authentication resolves the tenant from the API-key record first and the Client-ID header second; the data source is fixed to pwc and the environment comes from application startup.

User endpoints

GET /data_exchange/api/v1/users/get_user

Retrieves the user associated with the authenticated bearer JWT. The dependency resolves the external identity, loads the standardized user and returns the same User/document representation as the explicit-ID route.

GET /data_exchange/api/v1/users/get_user/{user_id}

Retrieves a specific standardized user visible in the resolved tenant. Missing users are translated by the user service into the endpoint's public not-found response.

POST /data_exchange/api/v1/users/import_user_in_consumer_format

Accepts the consumer-format PwC user document, resolves its client context and passes it to the canonical user flow. The flow transforms and persists the user, updates its semantic profile, and launches the matching work normally performed for a consumer message. Education and certifications remain accepted for compatibility but are not standardized.

PUT /data_exchange/api/v1/users/{user_id}

Partially updates the AIHub-owned profile fields currently exposed by UserUpdate: administrator status and simulation acknowledgement date. It never changes the external userId; omitted fields are preserved and the updated user is returned.

Opportunity endpoint

POST /data_exchange/api/v1/opportunities/import_opportunity_in_consumer_format

Accepts the PwC consumer opportunity shape and invokes the canonical opportunity flow. That flow standardizes and persists the opportunity, refreshes its semantic representation and computes its JOM user scores in the same way as an operational opportunity message.

Feedback endpoint

POST /data_exchange/api/v1/feedback/import_feedback_in_consumer_format

Transforms a PwC feedback event and sends it through the JOM feedback flow. The workflow updates the user's interest/bookmark/dislike signals as appropriate, persists the feedback state and can trigger the score consequences associated with that feedback type.
