AI Hub is one Python service composed of a main FastAPI application and six mounted application surfaces. The source tree, documentation navigation and runtime ownership use the same domain boundaries.

Source domain Public surface Responsibility
src/entity Main API User, opportunity, job, training and skill lifecycle
src/matching Main API JOM, JPM and training recommendations
src/chatbot /chatbot Oria conversations, agents, history, memory and simulations
src/admin /admin Administrator-only operations and batch control
src/data_exchange /data_exchange Operational source-system exchanges
src/genai /genai Configured chat completions, model discovery and document inputs
src/skills_library Main and Admin APIs Skill search and embedding administration
src/talent_intelligence Main API Skill inference, similarity and prompt workflows
src/lexi /lexi Job and skill content enrichment
src/pwc_jom_compatibility Main API under /v1 Selected legacy PwC JOM contracts
src/mcp_server /mcp MCP transport and complete agent wrappers

The generated documentation at /docs/, every Swagger/ReDoc page and every OpenAPI schema are public. That publication policy does not remove authentication from business operations: each endpoint continues to enforce the dependency shown by its own Swagger contract.

Request path

client
  -> mounted FastAPI application
  -> router and authentication dependency
  -> domain service or workflow
  -> repository or infrastructure connector
  -> MongoDB or PostgreSQL persistence / external side effect

The main application owns the shared lifespan. It prepares the selected database backend, AI-provider clients, LangGraph graphs, scheduler and relevant workers before accepting traffic. MongoDB deployments resolve a tenant database from the authenticated context; PostgreSQL deployments use the live relational projections and AIHub-owned tables in the configured database.

Public platform endpoints

  • GET /health-check confirms that the main application is serving requests.
  • GET /jom/health-check confirms that the JOM router is mounted.
  • /metrics is exposed by Prometheus instrumentation on each FastAPI surface, with the mount prefix applied to sub-applications.
  • /docs/ serves the generated functional and technical documentation.
  • /main/docs, /admin/docs, /chatbot/docs, /data_exchange/docs and /lexi/docs and /genai/docs expose the OpenAPI contracts for their application surface.

See Architecture overview for the runtime layers and Applications and APIs for mount details.
